Big 6 Sports Club

The Eldridge Extended

Welcome to the Eldridge Extended!

The Eldridge Extended is our new property that opened in April. In a building that is actually older than the Eldridge itself, we have remodeled the inside to provide 8 fantastic hotel rooms and 3 large banquet halls. The Extended sits on the corner of 8th and Vermont; approximately 1 block away from the Eldridge. For more information please call Guest Services at 785-749-5011.

The Extended Room Descriptions:

Master Suite (EEMSTR)

We have 6 of this room type. They are rooms 3,4,5,6,7, and 8. These rooms have a king size bed, economy kitchen. All the rooms are luxuriously appointed with walk-in closets, flat panel TVs, and large bathrooms. Wood and granite accent the rooms throughout.

Ambassador Suite (EEAMB)

This room is #2, it is the second largest room at The Extended. This room has a full kitchen with antiqued wainscoting on the walls. This room has a large 2 headed 2 person walk-in shower. All the rooms are luxuriously appointed with walk-in closets, flat panel TVs, and large bathrooms. Wood and granite accent the rooms throughout.

Metropolitan Suite (EEMTRO)

Room #1 is the largest room at The Extended. This has a full kitchen with an extra large bathroom with a soaking tub, as well as two headed two person walk in shower. There is a Flat-panel TV in the vanity for your enjoyment. All the rooms are luxuriously appointed with walk-in closets, flat panel TVs, and large bathrooms. Wood and granite accent the rooms throughout. The Metropolitan Suite is perfect for a honeymoon stay.

Not only do we provide premier accommodations in our suites, we also have three rooms dedicated to serving the needs of businesses looking for meeting space as well as groups looking for a great place to assemble.

New Years Eve Party in the Big 6

Come celebrate a great 2007 at the Historic Eldridge! There will be music, dancing, and festivities. Our live music will be provided by the Emeralds featuring Big Rick. If you're not familiar with the Emeralds - their music can be categorized as Blues, Motown, and Rock-n-Roll. The party starts at 10pm but feel free to come early because the doors open at 9pm. There is a cover charge of $15. That gets you into the party and also includes you in the champagne toast at midnight. If you need more imbibition, you are welcome to order more from our cash bar. Those of you who need some sustenance to fuel your 2008 excitement, you have several choices: you can purchase hors d'ouvres separately; you can also eat upstairs at our restaurant, Ten. No Reservations needed.

On New Years Eve, Ten will be serving our regular breakfast and lunch hours. Then we will be serving off a special menu from 5pm - 11pm. The special menu dinner will include an appetizer, salad, soup, entree, and dessert. For more information, please call Ten at 785-749-1005.

Looking for somewhere to crash after your night of dancing in the Big 6? How would you like to simply go upstairs. We have special New Years Packages for guests of the Eldridge Hotel. You can stay in one of our remodeled suites and enjoy the holiday with our 2008 New Years package. The package includes a bottle of Champagne, Eldridge Collectible Champagne glasses, and truffles. If you aren't interested in the package but are interested in getting a room, we have prices that include the package and prices that don't include the package. Bring your family and friends and enjoy some deliciousness ranging from biscuits and homemade gravy, sausage, fresh baked rolls and fresh fruit. Then go back for seconds and pile on some authentic Eldridge Mac N' Cheese, Prime Rib, pasta, and ham. For dessert choose from chocolate, carrot, or cheese cake. And if you sneak a scone or two into your pocket for the trip home, we won't tell anyone. ;^)
